Ben Jeffery has been painting professionally for over twenty years, following a career as a Behavioural Therapist in the field of Autism. Largely self-taught, Ben’s early artistic education came from his mother, who taught him observation and draftsmanship. His first gallery works were inspired by the British coastline, and his love for the sea continues to influence his landscape paintings, which focus on creating escapist, imagined realism. Ben challenged himself to produce a thousand small studies over several years, improving his technique and building a global collector base across 22 countries. Now working from his studio on the south coast, Ben draws inspiration from his travels across the UK and beyond.
